Hi, I'm Timo Behrend

23 · Swiss · EHL student

What should I tell you?

I guess I can start talking about my background. I was born and raised in Schönried, a small mountain village in Switzerland. Ater graduating from high school I had to serve the Swiss army for just over one year before I travelled and studied at a language school in Australia. Shortly after my return I started working in a bicycle store in Bern before starting my studies at EHL in September 2013. During my studies I have completed a 6 months internship in London at Clardige's Hotel and a 6 month internship in Singapore for a tech startup company.

Let's move on, this is getting boring.

Many thanks

if you made it all the way down here.

Play hard

In life you don't get a second chance and that's why I try to embrace every moment and play hard whenever I get the chance.

Far far away, behind the mountains, far from the country where I grew up can I experience new cultures, meet new people and find new passions.

In life it's all about finding the right balance between living the unknown and the structured life. I don't try to limit myself to either one of them.

I strongly believe that only if you strive to become an expert in what you love the most, will you be able to change the world and make it a better place.

Thank you

I would like to thank my parents Eliane & Thomas for their continuous support and enthusiams for every new and crazy idea that I have. I would also like to thank my brother Jens for simply being a great brother. Lastly, I would like to thank Kim for being absolutely amazing and for being by my side no matter what. I love you all.

A big thank you goes to my whole family, my dearest friends and business partners, anyone that I had the pleasure to meet during my travels & internships & everyone else that I forgot to mention.

I'm done, thanks.
